Who can become a member of the AARA?
Established and reputable roofing companies that meet and exceed our quality & credential screening process. We also welcome Manufacturers, Suppliers, Distributers and service providers who support the needs of the roofing contractors to join as associate members.

What are the requirements to become a member of the AARA?
Requirements to become a member is to apply through our website. Some of the information that will need to be provided are the following:
- Have been in business for a minimum for 5 years
- Current Business License
- An active, minimum $2Million dollar Liability Insurance
- WCB Clearance Letter

Is there a probationary period for new members?
Yes, all members are on probation for a year. During this time, they must refrain from using the AARA logo and other marketing material. All members must earn their membership status by continuing to prove their quality work and integrity. Our service grid indicates which companies are on their 1 year probation.

What are the benefits for a customer to choose an AARA member for their roofing project?
To become a member of the (AARA), roofing contractors must meet specific requirements that ensure professionalism, safety, and quality in the industry. Here's a brief overview
Business license
- Been in business for a minimum of 5 years
- Hold a current Business License
- WCB clearance letter
- Proof of liability insurance
- COR or SECOR certification (if applicable)
- Incorporation documentation

I am experiencing an issue with an AARA Member. What is the process regarding a complaint?
Where a written complaint is made respecting a member, the member shall be given not less than thirty (30) days written notice of the time and place for the consideration of the complaint and the nature thereof and such member, subject to the complaint, shall be given an opportunity to attend and hear full details of the compliant and shall be given a full opportunity to answer and defend the same, before the Board of Directors reaches a decision thereon or imposes any penalty.
